Hellz yeah I love seafood!
Do you like seafood?
05/07/2013
OH, I love seafood! I'll eat it almost every time I have the chance to! n_n I wish I lived on one of the coasts, so that I had access to cheaper prices. I am, however, just about in the smack middle of the u.s.
The only thing I don't like too much is shrimp, but I'll still eat them if offered. C:

I love most seafood. There are a few types of fish that I dont like, but for the most part I will eat it.

Shrimp and scallops are my favorites - I could eat them every day
05/07/2013
That's my favorite type of food. I'm a sushi addict, lol.

i'm a huge fan of seafoods, ever since i was a kid. In fact, since i stopped eating a lot of read meats i've started to eat much more chicken and fish.

Sometimes I feel the same way - but if we outlawed repetitive questions, the forum would be pretty much dead by now. It just comes with the territory.
And yes I do love seafood!

I use to be a huge fan of seafood, but once I became a Vegetarian -one who does NOT eat fish- I sorta gave it up. Still, there are times were i do crave whitefish, at least while I'm in my hometown. Doesn't change anything for me though. Still only a veggie eater.

I'm not really a fan. And I'm guessing my love for veggie sushi doesn't count

I didn't say anything about outlawing repetitive questions. Nor did I admonish kaykay0427, a long time member, about following the rules. (Had she been new, I would have mentioned what I have already suggested to a few new members, a better way to search the forums.) I thought people asked these discussion questions because they wanted responses & those links have a lot of responses that could be checked out. I have seen many long term members link to other discussions like this in order to help the author find what they are looking for. I thought that was just being helpful.

But, since you brought it up, I do think it would be better, if you find a thread within the past few months, to just reply to it, in effect, bump it to the top of the pile & give everybody a chance to see it & reply. It would help to keep things cleaner. For instance one of those I linked to was just posted on April 6th. Another option is to ask a variation on the topic and make it your own. But I didn't suggest any of that because I'm not an admin.

Yes, I love it. I really like different type of fish grilled with good seasoning as well as shrimp. I like fried clams too. Crab legs are good if they're fresh and cooked right! I'm not a fan of lobster though, I tried it more than once and just don't care for the taste.

I dislike pretty much all seafood, unless it's the beer-batter fish (or fish sticks) you find in the frozen section of grocery stores & it tends to taste more like chicken. Lol. I actually like that & the beer batter fish is really good to me.

It's just when something has such an... odor as fish does, it really makes it hard for me to want to put it in my mouth much less enjoy it. I've tried & it just isn't for me. However, the health benefits (skin, nails, hair, etc) of fish does cause me to at least try and eat a little salmon when I happen to be around it. I can usually handle a few bites as long as it's got bread covering it or whatever you roll the stuff in & sometimes some type of sauce, even if it's ketchup is enough to mask the taste a little.

I'm allergic to most of it

I like fish, but I am allergic to shellfish.

I like fried fish, but don't eat shellfish or octopus and weird stuff like that.

In our Best Practices thread we do encourage folks to do a forum search, see if the topic they're about to post has come up before. But we also understand that not everyone is going to. Or that similar topics may not feel the same to the user. Or that they simply want more current answers -- especially when repetitive topics are from 2009 and were answered by folks they have never heard of.
The staff and admins are fully capable of determining what is spam and farming (like 5 forum posts in 4 minutes, all asking questions with no forethought that have likely been asked before). I am not aware of anyone having been banned or even reprimanded for making a well thought out post that is repetitive.
We understand that things get easily buried. We understand that it's sometimes hard to search. We understand not everyone has time to search in multiple places and ways. We understand that people sometimes just want to make conversation and don't mean to duplicate old content.
We, basically, try to be understanding -- and this is an area we can be.
Forums will always have people posting repeats of the same questions. Long time forum members anywhere are known to groan as one when certain topics come up.
The trick is to be a good, fair forum administrator and be able to figure out when someone is blatantly point farming and not putting anything of value into the discussion or when someone just didn't think or use best practices -- which are not rules nor part of the TOS, just suggestions.
It IS best to search the forum first, use a clear title, and all the other things in that thread. But we're not going to throw buckets of phthalates at the occasional offender.
Anyhow. I kind of babbled off topic here but since it seems to have come up again -- and has been a lot lately -- I wanted to reassure everyone that they're not in trouble for putting up a topic that's similar to another unless they are doing other point farming activities along with the repeated forum posts.
I know this is irksome to a lot of folks. Always has been, on every forum I've ever been on. But the quoted post by Gunsmoke is dead on accurate -- It comes with the territory.

On topic, I love seafood. I could probably eat some sort of fish, or shell fish, or crustacean, or other swimming creature every single day.
05/08/2013
I don't care for most types of seafood, but once in awhile I'll have battered and fried fish if I'm out to eat.

Seafood is my favorite!!

I love ALL seafood(:
05/08/2013
I hate 'fishy' taste but I like mild, white flesh fish like snapper.
05/08/2013
I like seafood of all types
05/08/2013
I like fried fish. I wish I could eat other types of seafood because my family likes all of it. Just the smell makes me feel pukey after a while. We go as a family to a place that has all you can eat crab and it's entertaining to watch them destroy the food. I always leave with sauce and seafood splashed on me from their enthusiastic eating and have to laugh. It's absurd.

I love crab. On the half shell, crab legs, crab dip, any of it!
