The other post about nail polish inspired me to start this one! The ads for OPI in magazines are always so creative, and I absolutely LOVE the cute names! I don't own much, because it's a bit more pricey, but I love to look
Do you like OPI brand nail polish?

I don't like opi that much, but I tend to be cheaper when I buy and get my polish from the grocery store. They had a huge clearance sale on Milani once and I got a fair number of them and like the colors alot. They go on pretty nicely too. I recently got a couple of these Chi polishes and my test of them showed they go on pretty nicely with two coats, but I do need to try them out more. I love sally hansen. I have one of the gem crush colors (the silver with specks of blue) and I am LOVING it. It goes on thick and sparkly! I also love a few of my revlon colors, though I would suggest testing those before buying to determine consistency. I got two orchids and they are pretty... lacking. Very watery and takes a lot of coats. If you want something cheap the NYC brand seems to be pretty good. Nice enough for beginning and you can find some really good colors. I even got one of their matte finish top coats and have had fun with that! Also, Essie is a good brand, but expensive. I suggest buying from the grocery store or something (I go to HEB) and waiting for sales to get more expensive polishes.

I buy nail polish more by the colors I like than by the brands

I like OPI (I was mad for the Alice in Wonderland collection, I never did get my hands on the blue ) but I rarely buy it because of the price. I get pretty nail polish from e.l.f. for $2 that lasts just as long.

I like OPI, but I find their color names ridiculous.

I like OPI, but I wouldn't call it my absolute favorite nail polish brand. In fact, I mainly focus on the colors rather than the brand; I usually notice the brand long after I have chosen the color I like.

i love opi!

I love the names and the colors but it's so streaky and it gets thick and clumpy quickly.

I like it but I only have a few because of the price. I like the Pure ICE brand, it's affordable and there are so many pretty colors. I can get 2 or 3 for the price of one OPI!

Never heard of it.

I don't wear nail polish maybe if I did i would like it

I used to love OPI but these days I am in love with Zoya..it's vegan and the colors are fabulous! I get great discounts and their nail polish lasts for three weeks before I need to change it

I like OPI but I don't love it. It stains my nails the color I was wearing which is irritating to me.

OPI has really stupid names for their polish, but I do like a lot of the colors.
Zoya is another good one, but I've had just as good results using Ulta's brand for much cheaper.

I think it is alright, but it is sort of pricey.

I know of the brand but I haven't used it.

indifferent. i prefer china glaze and orly.

I picked indifferent. They have some nice colours, and are better than some other polishes I have tried. Some of the shades I have go on really sheer though and need 3 or 4 coats to look their best, and I don't have the patience for that.

OPI, China Glaze, Piggy Polish, Sally Girl, Sally Hansen, Avon, and Orly. However, I mix mine. I come up with odd colors and different ways to apply them. I have a tub of nail equipment.
Always use a clear base coat - then add a base color - then add a topper color - then a clear coat.
I always try to do a manicure first though; cuticles are important, too!

It's my absolute favorite brand! I've tried China Glaze and Orly but they don't really work for me. I don't use polish a lot (blah dress code), so the price is worth it for me because the bottles last a long time. The names are ridiculous but they make me giggle. Imo it's just a fun concept and isn't to be taken seriously. Their names aren't nearly as terrible as some lower-quality brands that try to emulate them, and the names celebrities choose for their colors are almost always terrible (the recent Kardashian colors for China Glaze come to mind).

I really like it (and all their color choices) but I adore the few Butter of Londons that I have. It's just amazing how well the polish goes on!
