do you like black licorice?

It's my fave candy but a lot of people hate it...but when I went to Denmark it was everywhere! Cultural thing, I guess?

Not something I find pleasant. My husband loves it though, so we usually have a small box sitting around for when he wants a taste of it.

Oh god, I hate both black and red licorice. Perhaps it is a cultural thing, not sure.

I love it but it was a major piece of my childhood. My grandfather always had black licorice around his house. And he always shared with me, so I love it.

I prefer black jelly beans to black licorice. Anise is one of my favorite flavors.

Hate it myself lol. But hey FYI true european licorice -not the candy crap we have here in CONUS- can be toxic if you eat a whole bunch of it. Again not the bag of candy vines but the actual root is what I am talking about. Or if its made from the root.

It's typically made with anise oil. Id be more concerned with the ammonia chloride salt they use.

I love it, especially the panda brand that comes in the sticks. It's way better than the black twizzlers stuff
