The other night I had watched a movie called "jackie chan's kung fu master" There was like 5 mins of him at the start and and the end of the movie where you even saw Jackie Chan and the rest is of this kid in his search for Jackie Chan. To me it was pretty Lame... I was so angry by the end of it I yelled at my Hubby saying I wanted my 85mins back LOL
Do you know a movie that was so horrible you wanted your money back at the end of it?

Austin Powers ... rented it from the video store, watched ten minutes, brought it back ... all under a half-hour, so the clerk knew I was serious about my refund.
I can respect others liking it, but it just wasn't for me.

Nothing memorable.

Yeah, plenty. The first that comes to mind to me is the Transformers movie. I don't even care which one it was; They are all the same and they are all garbage to me.

If there is a movie that is newly released and I'm not POSITIVE I'll love it, I don't spend money on it. I will catch it online or something or watch it when it comes to TV, just in case.
I HAVE, however, seen movies that if I'd seen them in theaters I'd have demanded my money back.
Motor Home Massacre comes to mind...

ummm that one sasha barrot movie (or whatever his name is) Borat. I took it back to the movie rental place and they actually gave me a free rental over it.

Many. This happens to us often actually. The Twilight movies for starters. Recently we went to see Prometheus.. the trailer for that one was way better than the rest of the movie. Hanna was another.

I've only walked out of a movie and demanded my money back once: for 'Your Highness'.
It was my birthday, and I was hanging out with some friends. It's common knowledge that my TV is only for video games, but my friends had seen the trailer, and thought it looked pretty funny. They asked to take me to it. I agreed. We sat through 20 minutes, trying to see anything amusing at all. It was just wretched - we mostly just felt sickened. We walked out and asked for our money back, which the guy gave us, saying that he was surprised we had lasted that long. This was at the cheap theater, but it was the principle of the thing.

The 2009 Star Trek film. By the end of it I felt so cheated. Like I had paid money to watch bright lights for an hour.

I can't think of one so bad I wanted my money back.

There are several movies that I'd love my time back!
There is one that most people loved but, I didn't. Well, not really. It was "ok". My biggest problem was that it was all over the place and not very well constructed. Brokeback mountain. The storyline was good but, they could have made the movie a bit better.
Blair witch project
Several others.

We don't usually go to the movies, but I'm sure there have been a few I didn't like.

My roommate drug me to see Napoleon Dynamite. I'm sure that's not the only movie I hated enough to want my money back though.

Usually watch them on video instead of the theater (and never opening week) so I have a better idea if I'm going to waste.

Birdemic, I wanted my netflix selection back

The Love Guru. Didn't even make it to the end.

Alexander. I saw it with my mom & we were both sitting there thinking the other was enjoying it, & then finally I leaned over to her & said "I think I'm going to go sit outside, because I'd rather take a nap in the field next door than sit through another minute of this," & that's when she told me she had been wanting to leave since about five minutes after the opening credits ended.

Hollow Man. Oh how I hated that movie. For a long time, it became conversationally equivalent to "things could be worse", as in:
"Oh dear, it seems I've broken my leg."
"Well, at least you're not watching Hollow Man."

Recently, This Means War, Dark Shadows, and the one about the space prison.
I think I am done seeing movies in theaters unless I've heard amazing things about them. Too risky. If I'm watching on DVD at home, at least I can be playing games online or something if it is boring.

Avatar. So many people gushed about it, but it was complete crap. I don't care if it was pretty, I want a story to go along with my pretty, not Mary Sue fan-fiction put on the big screen.

I don't go to the movies often. I usually only go if I've heard of a movie being really good.

I just watched Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
07/05/2012
Um Ghost Rider 2 for sure. XP That sucked. Your Highness was the worst movie I have ever seen, but we rented it.
