I sorta snickered at the option of "dislike of small children". Recently at work we got new employees, I was introduced to one as "This is Betsy, she hates kids." I'm guessing it was because they were just talking about kids before I walked in, and it's well known that I don't like them. Even as a kid I didn't like being around other kids, as an adult I hate how some women act as if reproduction is the only reason for a women to exist. As soon as someone finds out I don't want kids, they always want to grill me on why and play the hypothetical game of: "Well what if you got pregnant?"
This leads to my next secret among many, I am prochoice and all about women being on birth control if they are not planning a family. Unfortunately this seems to offend many people, so I'm not very vocal about it. But any time a girl at work says "I think I may be pregnant" when they weren't planning, I just think 'Why not take a far cheaper precaution that the costly outcome?'
I'm also Jewish in the south, so I don't discuss this much since I no longer feel like answering stupid questions. We now have the internet, where you can ask stupid questions without any shame or annoyance to others. Want to know what's with those funny hats Jewish men wear? Google it! Why can't Jewish people eat pork? Google it! Any of these questions and more can be answered by someone else, because when I'm asked it's always because you are inevitably trying to steer me towards explaining why I don't believe in Jesus as if that was the only option in life and I'm crazy.
