Do you have your home "fenced" off?

This applies only to those who own their own homes. Do you have your yard "fenced off"?

When I was growing up, any yard you could find, be it country or city, had a fence. Later, I saw "privacy" fences (never saw one in my youth...it was all "chain link"). Today, the "trend" seems to be "open lots" and no fences.

I wonder how common those "styles and choices" are these days.

Is your yard fenced off?

We have the back pasture and yard fenced but not the front. We use the added area of the yard for emergency parking when we have lots of company....

The front yard is open, side has a fence more like a patio and the back has a brick fence.

Privacy fence in the back and no fence in the front. It was similar when I was growing up a while ago. Homes in more closely-packed neighborhoods had chain-link fences, but wooden privacy fences were not rare for larger houses.
