Yes, sometimes. I try to avoid riding in the back seat and if I do, I try not to watch out the window (but that doesn't always work). It sucks .

I never have.

When I was a child all the time on long trips. I had to sit in the front. Now that I drive. I haven't gotten car sick.

I do quite often. Due to the nature of the medications I take and my illness, many normal things make me extremely nauseous. I always have to bring a puke bag with me just in case whenever I ride in the car; needless to say, it has served me quite well.

I also got car sick as a child quite a bit.

Nope, never.
09/21/2012
Never, unless I read a book while riding I get a headache/stomach ache
09/21/2012
It's not something that's ever affected me.
09/21/2012
Only when I try to read a book or something.
09/21/2012
I do not
09/21/2012
I do when I try to read or if it's a really long car ride and I'm in the backseat.

Very often. I always have since I was a small child. I get motion sickness easily.
09/21/2012
sometimes but not lately
09/21/2012
I've never been carsick

Never - I love road trips! - But I much prefer riding shotgun. I like to sleep in the back seat.

Never. I can read, type, you name it with no issues (NOT while driving, silly).

I could sleep, but if hubby is driving, I force myself to be awake with him. Too easy to fall asleep if your passenger is sleeping.

Me neither, but one of my three dogs sure does. She pukes within the first mile of travel...even with empty stomach...EVERY time. Then she is mostly alright. We keep an absorbent mat on the back seat under her at all times.

I sure don't get this. I know it effects many people, but I read books in moving cars, on planes, trains and indeed, it is all the same to me as if I were sitting on my couch at home, or in my office at my desk! Reading is reading, so I cannot understand what you folks are feeling, or why.

Occasionally. It depends on how the person is driving and the temperature in the car.

I get car sick all the time. I also get the same way on boats, planes, trains, amusement park rides and the list goes on! Usually fresh air makes it not so bad.
09/21/2012
Thankfully, I've avoided this one. I've only gotten carsick when I've had other sick to deal with.
09/21/2012
No but I just found out my daughter does on our first long trip. It was not fun.

Only when I read. Carsickness is mainly due to a vertigo like effect from your eyes moving in two directions at once. The car going up and down from bumps in the road every now and then, plus your eyes going back and forth scanning the scenery/horizon add up to a sensation some people's brains find rather annoying, then they get dizzy, feel funny, and puke.
09/21/2012
usually it is only when I try to read, or play a video game.
