Or do you hate the doctor and avoid them like the plague.

Since I have medical problems I usually go to the doctor every few months if I have insurance. If I don't have insurance I just go to the local clinic each year for my female physical.

I certainly don't go once per year. Between 2004 and 2011, I had visited a clinic once, for a bad neck.

Last winter, I had to go in four times in seven weeks. It was awful.

I've never had a physical. In the UK people are encouraged to only visit the doctor if they suspect they actually have something wrong with themselves.

No, I may be a nurse but I hate going to the MD and having to deal with the waiting and all the crap!

I don't have health insurance, so nope! It's been probably 2 years since I've seen a doctor.

No. I had one recently as it was required by work, but even the doctor said that I probably don't require annual visits right now.

I'm good about GYN appointments and my yearly eye exam, but I hate having to go to the GP and the dentist. Every trip to the GP requires "tests" which usually have to be done at a different place on a different day taking up an equally irritating amount of time, and dental work SUCKS. I have a really nice dentist, but a cleaning still feels like the scene from Marathon Man.

I have regular dental appointments every six months, but other than that I only go to doctors of any kind when something's wrong.
