I'm kind of curious about the work/school schedules of those of us here. I work five days a week, but I do not get a traditional Saturday and Sunday off. I am off on Thursdays and Fridays instead. About 90% of the time I wish I worked more. I'm so used to working in retail in which I would sometimes work 12 days straight that having two designated days off in a row is so alien to me. I work 40 hours a week, but man, I can handle more! Bring it on!
Do you get a "weekend" off from work?

I work part time about 20 hours only a week. I'd love to work more, but at the time, more hours are not available at my job.

well, let's see...I take a college class & it is work. so I actually get the weekend off plus 3 other days. and btw, taking college class for many semesters to come will be the remainder of my working life. and as an FYI, I LOVE the art class I'm taking.

Just started back to full time work, I have Tuesdays and Sundays off most of the time, one week a month I have a Saturday off and that week I work Mon-Fri. I am also going to school full time so my days off are usually busy with school work. One semester left if all goes right after this one.

Not really. I work retail, and when I do get days off, I get called in to cover someone else's shift. Yaaay....
I will take a sick day if my mate is home so that we may spend more time together.

I know that feeling all too well. I worked for a major retailer for almost two years (and many other retail jobs before that) and it was quite common to work 15 hour days because of call outs or work 13 days in a row, or have to change my schedule around at the last second because some other dumbass doesn't respect their job or co-workers enough to not call out because they are too hungover.

I stay home with my littles.....so it's "work" 24/7 but I wouldn't change it.
