Since the death of my husband and a couple of happenings....I have really been studying about Angels. There are many theories, books, etc. out there and trying to sort out the varying opinions, theories and stories can be a bit...much. I have learned a lot and do know that I believe in them and truly feel there has been a couple of experiences with them in my life.

--How do you feel about angels?
--Have you ever had an experience? Could you share if yes?
--What is your beliefs for 'good', 'bad' or 'miraculous' angels?

There have been times that I've put a lot of thought into this.

I do believe that Angels, Spirits, or demons walk among us. I do believe some are only shown to those who can see them, or when we need to see them ourselves.

I have had many experiences in my past to believe in things of this nature, seeing partial spirits, noticing how I have been saved, in a since, from many vehicle accidents since adding certain trinkets to my car, etc.

I have never seen a spirit or an angel myself, but I also have not experience the death of a dearly loved person before either.

There is a song that has special meaning to me "We Are Each Other's Angels".
As an atheist I no longer have faith in an Almighty.
I do however have faith in humanity.
WE are each other's angels, not some invisible mythical winged beings.
WE are responsible for looking out for our brothers and sisters.

By angels do you mean spirits/ghosts? If so then yes I definitely believe in them. I have actually seen a few of them as have several members of my family. My cousin has had a spirit attached to her since she was a small child, it even moved to her new house with her.

I have had experience with both good spirits and evil spirits or demons. The later can be a bit of an issue, but I have enjoyed my experiences with the more positive ones. Some of the ones I've had experience with were previous owners of my mothers house, some were relatives that while my mother did genealogical research on neither of us had ever had the chance to meet in person, some were friends of hers who'd died years ago, and the rest as far as I know had no actual connection to me or anyone in my family.

After breaking up with a rather psychologically abusive man, I started to see white fragments of a body flashing around. Mostly it was from the hips down, and once it was just a flashing of the shoulder and arm. SO odd.

I read Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander. Thankfully I read it before the death of my husband (I am sorry for your loss as well, js250).

I believe that we are in the same space, just on a different frequency. I think there are times when they can reach us, but not all the time or it might affect our progress.

I totally believe in spirits and souls and that we are souls with a body living a human existence.

Angels are real, at least in my eyes.

My mother told me once that when I was little, she got this really strong aroma of her deceased mother's favorite perfume along with a gut feeling that something was wrong, so she went to check the kitchen.
When she got there she found out that our cat had managed to turn on the stove, but thanks to the feeling she had and her mother's perfume waking her up, she got it turned back off before anything could catch fire.

Another time, a few hours before her grandmother died in a hospital all the way across the state, she smelled the grandmothers perfume while we were sitting in the living room and the next morning when she called my aunt, she found out what happened.

I know that at the very least, I believe, for those reasons, that ghosts exist...but I'd like to think that those two went to heaven and just get to visit when they're needed.

I'm not sure if I'd say I believe in "bad" angels, though I do believe in bad, malicious spirits.

And I feel certain that when we lose someone we were close to, they leave us little signs to let us know they're alright and that they'll be there when it's our time to go.
A lot of the people closest to my cousin have had experiences (since his passing in October) where their radios suddenly turned up for no reason or things have moved that no one was touching, so I'd like to think that's him telling them all that he's okay.

That does sound a bit odd. Did it eventually go away? Did it do anything else?

After I had some friends do some protection spells on the house, it died down Also after I was given a talisman (which now hangs in my car), it stopped and I don't think I've seen it since.

That could be a good thing. Giving when it started appearing I'd be a little suspicious as to why it was appearing and if it was harmful.

That was what we thought! After the man was fully expelled from my life, things stopped. Thankfully those figures haven't appeared again, but I do still have other things that happen. And I do still believe in the idea of angels, demons, etc, so forth.

They actually tend to be. Some are benign, like a flash of an animal or spirit, maybe passing through? Other times it's just a gut feeling that I have that guides me to make my decisions.

They could just be passing through, or you may be subconsciously blocking the image once your conscious mind recognizes it's there. I've had similar experiences, though not with animals.

I'm not sure if I would call them angels per se, but I do believe in some form of supernatural spirits and have had... experiences... before.

Well, for one, I remember that I was once very little and bundled up because it was a very cold night. I saw this figure.... I'd call it a grim reaper, but it was all dressed in white (and no scythe), which drifted through my room and into my sister's. Well, I silently freaked out, and, after waiting for five minutes to be sure it was gone, ran into my sister's room to check up on her. We had to call and ambulance. There was something really wrong with her digestive stomach. The strangest thing is, though, that I think that the whatever the thing had been was a benevolent spirit. I think it saved her.

Also, I'm starting to believe in a Russian House Sprite. Either that, or there's a portal to and from Narnia in my house. Stuff keeps being lost for months and found in a ridiculous spot where we had already checked weeks later. We all deny touching it.

I have things that like happen with my items as well! I recently just found a box of fake nails that I know I had set in my room, but I found in a shopping bag in our storage area under our stairs.

And you know what, that figure sounds... wow. I got chills reading that description. Have you ever tried to research it to find out exactly what it was?

Right now my Kindle is missing, even though I know where I left it. : / It'll show up in a week or two.

Just thinking about the figure freaks me out, and I'm easily frightened on top of that, so I've steered clear of reading others' accounts.

I can understand that. There are certain happenings that I have avoided looking into for that same reason.

I do sometimes see what I assume are people, but they apparently are apparitions. I avoid looking into it because that would mean admitting that I have seen it.

However, the biggest thing is the night frights. I used to know the name of them. But it is when you wake in the middle of the night with a terrible fear that swallows you whole and you cannot move. You are literally petrified as a black figure or figures loom over you. That hasn't happened in years, but it has happened in the past.

These night frights sound interesting, though I can certainly understand why it would cause you to be concerned. Have you remembered the name of them?

To the rest of it - there's nothing wrong with seeing or hearing spirits. To someone who isn't used to it, it can be a bit unsettling at first. I've actually been working on increasing my abilities in this area, though some people are uncomfortable with it.

The reason I brought this topic up stems from my husband's death. More specifically, the shape of his blood on our floor from where he died. It is in the exact shape of an angel that I got for him--down to the broken wing. I have included a picture--sorry if it is disturbing for you to see--I feel it is an integral part of my interest and questions regarding this topic.

He was killed, more specifically, shot to death in a senseless accident. I don't know if you can see it clearly in the pix, but the ones she sent me after it happened, definitely show the exact same shape; it's uncanny! I just am amazed over the similarity down to the broken wing on the statue!. I am sorry to horn in on this, if it bugs anyone, but I can say js250 has some really amazing and incredible stories you would not believe could all have happened to the same person! She definitely has some kind of stuff going on around her, whether it's paranormal, or angels, or whatever, I don't know. I've never before met anyone with so many unusual coincidences and occurrences!

I definitely agree with you! She has some incredible stories most definitely!

And that is CRAZY! I mean.. that is crazy the shape. That gave me shivers, honestly.

Thank you. I can deal with and talk about the situation better now that I took time out and dealt with much of the outside issues related to my husband's death. I am starting to heal and am grateful to have you as a friend! Will talk to you tomorrow!
