I don't. But I live in an apartment complex, so I don't really have a private backyard.
Do you feed your backyard birds?

Whenever my husband forgets to block the space underneath the gate, the neighborhood skunk will sneak into our backyard at night, always worried it'll spray my dog!

never

Yes, all year round. I like bird watching.

We usually give the birds food during the summer time.
11/27/2011
Only if I think of it. Lol. I do have seed for them but I rarely remember to fill their feeders.

Wow, seems like all the birds are hungry today, there are at least four dozens of birds including Juncos, Sparrows and Finches munching up my sunflower seeds, and a lot of them are babies! I'm sure there's always one bird doing sentry duty, because whenever I go out to scatter more seeds on the ground, a bird starts chirping and all the rest comes flying over to eat.

This is the first year I decided to feed the birds during the winter. Since I started doing so, I have been addicted to watching my feeder. So many different species of birds manage to come to my feeder, and I enjoy every minute of it. I'm thinking about feeding them year round, just because, it puts me in a positive mood, especially after a long day at work.

I don't have a backyard appartments boo. But if I do I just might feed all the critters

Sometimes. I love birds, do it's hard not to
02/29/2012
There are no birds that hang out in my backyard, and there's only the occasional pass through from other animals.

I actually don't have a backyard, people here live in apartment buildings mostly and so do I... But I remember feeding birds in parks when I was a kid and, if I'm not mistaken, even making some bird feeders

I don't intentionally feed our birds, but they eat up my garden anyway! Even the fall and winter crops like carrots, lettuce, cabbage, etc get eaten up.
03/01/2012
i live in the country, but it stil cali. Warm temps all year long and the birds can always find their own food
03/01/2012
Love feeding the animals.

The little Juncos are back, they have not shown up all summer and they're finally back this morning!
10/17/2012
It's not so much feed as growing flowers they enjoy. They also love the compost
10/17/2012
I don't. Well, I did once. I had a loaf of bread that didn't go so well and I threw it to the forest. UNFORTUNATELY, my bread paddle was still stuck in the bread, so the critters got it, too.

We used to but not anymore.
10/17/2012
I love feeding the birds

Too many skunks around to feed anything. I don't want anymore in my yard than I already have.
10/17/2012
I don't feed the birds.

I don't feed birds because I hate them, and they poop on my balcony and outside furniture.

I own an orchard so we have bird feeders all along the south border of our house to keep them from eating any plants or blossoms. Plus they help keep the pests population down.

Sometimes. I don't buy seeds, but we toss out bread crumbs now and then.
