I don't do it often, but I did have a friend of mine convert my baptism video cassette to a dvd and a digital file

I download all sorts of stuff and have to convert it to play on my players. Sometimes they come as is, sometimes I have to convert

I do it pretty regularly out of necessity, I tend to download clips (non-copywritten material, usually clips of cute animals doing cute stuff) off tube sites and the format those come in aren't compatible with my iPod.
