It is broiling hot out, and we just went to Olive Garden...and my hubby got soup (and salad/bread sticks). I just cannot do hot soup when its...hot out.
How about you?
I tend not to eat hot soup THAT much during the summer, but all in all I'll enjoy some soup any time, really. I do eat it more often in the winter! And I never have hot drinks during the summer months, that's strictly a winter thing for me!
I suppose if it's air conditioned where I am eating it, then hot soup is no different than hot anything for me to eat. However, I don't think of it, nor of heavier foods during the heat; it's just not appealing.

Soup is usually warm or even hot; but there are other types of soups enjoyed cold too!!! It is not dependent upon external seasonal sources.

Looks like i'm the only one but I hate soup 99% of the time. I only eat it when i'm sick and feeling super crappy and even then i'm pretty picky about it.

Pretty much, yes, but I couldn't eat hot anything if I'm outside in the heat. As long as I'm indoors where it isn't steaming hot in there, then I can eat soup. I love vegetable soup, so I could it eat often.
Soup is always good, I'll eat it all year round. I don't have the same sort of cravings for it during the summer like I do in the colder months, though.

I can't eat it /anytime/, per se, but if it's hot out and cool enough in my house/restaurant/where ver I'm eating, I have no problem eating soup.
