I love sitting outside at night with my wife, but we haven't had any luck seeing any shooting stars yet. It's just relaxing to be with alone with her in the quiet night.

I lay out, and I occasionally see some, but overall, it's awfully boring alone.

Definitely! We will either go in the back pasture or grab a couple beers and lay in the back of the truck in the mountains.

Love it. I once went over to a friend's place in the middle of the night just so we could lay out and what the lunar eclipse.

We've seen a couple of fantastic meteor showers from our backyard.

I love star gazing, but i live in an area with a lot of light pollution so watching meteor showers can be a little difficult.

I have in the past, but not recently. I remember that there was a meteor shower when I was in middle school. My friend slept over, but we were both exhausted. We set an alarm to go watch it.

Yes! I like to watch the sky when there's nothing in it at all. I live in a big city so there's tons of light pollution. I can barely see stars, but when I do it's amazing.

Not all the time, but it's a fun thing to do as a one-off. I've watched the Perseids (sp?) a few times and that's been kind of neat. You do need to be out away from light pollution and there at the right time for those sorts of events to really be spectacular.

We make special trips out to the country to see the big showers. It's magnificent.

Not many here in Orlando, but last time I was down in South Florida, I sat on the beach during a meteor shower and saw a couple.

In Australia, we went camping south of Canberra one weekend and I saw dozens of shooting stars, one after another after another.
