I really like buffet style restaurants, despite the fact that I consider them to be tacky. Good Chinese buffets are one of my favorite kinds of restaurants (though bad ones can be really gross), and I wouldn't be offended if someone offered to take me there for a date. I feel like that might be an unpopular opinion, though - what do you guys think?
Do you enjoy buffet style establishments?

Sometimes. The food is not that good on buffets.

I like higher-end buffet establishments where the food is good. I have a big appetite and can eat a lot, so I never went to buffet places on date nights...don't want to scare the guy off! LOL

I don't like most buffets because IME they tend to be low-quality food. There is one Indian buffet in town, however, that is really good, and clean.

Most buffets are low-quality food. I have, however, been to a couple of buffets that are so delicious and have never disappointed me! The food was always fresh.

It probably wouldn't be my first choice, but I don't hate them.

Like buffet style restaurants? Shoooot! I love buffets! I rarely choose any place that isn't a buffet. Lol. Last weekend we had to go to Red Lobster (Ick!) because one of the kids chose it and I ordered mozarella cheese sticks. My dad gave me some of his lobster pizza, which I picked the lobster off, my lovie gave me his green beans. They were good. And my mom gave me some of her fried broccoli or something like that. It was okay. I wasn't about to order fish though! Lol.

Do not like fish and I really prefer a buffet because I can choose with my eyes! Plus, I like variety, and also because most buffets have the Southern kinds of foods I love so much. Thankfully, earlier last week, I got to go to my favorite restaurant, so having to go to Red Lobster wasn't totally horrible. Lol.

If the food is good and fresh. I go to Asian style ones more than American food places.

I LOVE BUFFETS! :'D I love having a huge variety of food and being able to get as much as I want, I go nuts over buffets.
03/21/2013
While i agree sometimes buffets are "tacky," the fact that they're often cheap for the amount of food you get is great for date nights! The only things is to make sure it's a place with fresh food thats good.

No not at all
03/21/2013
I love buffets! Typically means everyone can find something they like. Can be a fun date if you don't mind eating in front of them.

There is one I just hate, and my mother can't figure it out. I don't like the way they cook their meat, and their vegetables have WAY too much butter. Most of their desserts are chocolate (and I don't like chocolate.) Last time I ate there I got only salad.
03/21/2013
I like them occasionally.
03/21/2013
Well, sometimes they're good and when they're good I like them but when they're bad they're usually TERRIBLE.
03/21/2013
I like Sweet Tomatoes but that's about it.
03/21/2013
The ones I go to are pretty great so.
03/21/2013
Can't go wrong with all you can eat.

I try to avoid them...usually I try and eat enough to justify the cost.

I never seem to get my money's worth at buffet style restaurants. Those "all you can eat" specials just aren't for me.

Depending on the restaurant I'm ok with them, but my wife hates them.

I like them when going out with friends, makes it much easier than trying to find someplace everyone can agree on.

We love good Chinese buffets and typically will use them as date locations.

Not a fan, though I like Chinese buffets sometimes.
