Do you edit your discussion posts after you've posted them?

Contributor: spiced spiced
I really like that Eden gives us the option to edit a post after we post it, if no one else has left a comment after us yet. I wish more forums did that, because sometimes I'll type the wrong word, or make a grievous spelling, grammar, or punctuation error — not to mention typos. So I make use of the "Edit Post" feature.

How about you? Do you go back and correct yourself?

I use the option quite a bit. Sometimes it's a grammatical error, a missing comma, or my post just doesn't make much sense. I like the option a lot.

I have a few times when I've noticed an accidental misspell... That's about it though.

I use it sometimes because I'll leave out a word or maybe have a misspelling or something.

if I noticed I spelled something wrong, I will go back and fix it.

Sometimes, for typos or when I think something can be worded better.

I usually don't, unless I notice that I've made a typo.

There have been quite a few times when I needed to fix a grammatical error or a spelling error. I can only think of one time where I edited a post to say something completely different, because I decided too late that I didn't feel comfortable sharing what I had said. I saved it on my computer, though, so maybe someday I'll post it.

Did so just 5 minutes ago on two different posts. As much as I check for sentence structure and misspelling I always overlook something. One recent post of mine I unfortunately couldn't go back and edit the title which didn't make sense at all. Sorry about that all.

Once in a while I do, but I usually don't worry about it too much as long as my point still gets accross

Yes I do. Sometimes I realized I missed something, or sometimes I answered too quickly, sometimes I don't like what I said, and sometimes I'm a doofus and spelled something incorrectly.

I've only posted one discussion and the title/subject/whatever you call it got edited (by admin?) which I was not happy about. I wish I had the option to change it myself or get permission to have it changed because after it was changed I felt like it did not properly convey the question I was trying to ask.

I'll immediate go back and fix an error if I see one. I'm so glad that we have the option to do so because I make stupid mistakes all the time.
