My rattie loves veggie rolls, my 6 yr old sister loves flying-fish roe...and me, I love it all!
Do you eat sushi?

I love suishi, specially really spicy ones.

I don't eat it. I've tried it. I have enough food allergies, that even the veggie ones are iffy for me because so many of them have avocado.
The raw fish idea just wigs me out too. Too many parasitology classes. It gets me in trouble in other areas too

Nigiri sushi is just the fish, egg or vegetable on top of a ball of vinegared rice. I am also allergic to sea weed and shell fish (It's the iodine) and can't have regular rolled sushi, unless they use salmon skin. But, I eat plenty of Nigiri!

I posted a pic of Nigiri on this thread, nearer to the beginning.

I love sushi. We don't eat it all that often, but we really enjoy it when we do.

I love certain kinds but not all.

I love all kinds of sushi
04/08/2011
yes, but I wasn't the biggest fan. I'd have it again, but I'm not likely to seek it out.

We love sushi and just had some for dinner! Note for those who have not tried it and say they do not like it or it is "fishy"...sushi is rice rolled in dried seaweed. Many different things can be put inside it and the most common for newbs is the California Roll with avocado, cucumber, and usually one other veggie...no fish at all! You can order it with all kids of fillings, including fish. Just know, if you like rice or fish, you should try it!

No way. After seeing food tests done on these sushi bars on the news I think people are insane for touching it

I don't eat the raw stuff, but I do enjoy the flavors of sushi with veggies or with cooked meat. My only problem is that it's so difficult to eat--the pieces are often way too big for my mouth, and it's not like you can cut it into smaller pieces or take a small bite!

sushi is amazing

Sushi is the rice prepared with the vinegar mix. Sashimi is the raw fish. I'll eat sushi, but I don't like eating most raw fish this far inland.

I eat it as often as I can. I have been slowly getting my wife to eat it more. Her hangup isn't the fish anymore, but the seaweed. Luckily there are some places that will roll it in a soy paper instead. She likes that much better.

I like almost any type of rolls.

Some people have a phobia of raw fish but sushi can instead have egg or cooked seafood (e.g. eel/unagi). Western sushi can be vegetarian or have non-seafood meats, even Spam. less

I've never tried sushi, never wanted to try it. Theres not many sushi places where I live and none have vegetarian sushi. =[

I only eat vegetarian sushi now, but before I became a vegetarian I did eat sushi with fish. My favorite was eel. As I said though, I'm vegetarian now and only eat veggy sushi, which is very yummy by the way. ;3 I think I'd be very sad if I couldn't eat sushi.

I LOVE sushi. It's my absolute favorite type of food. Of course, that's pretty dependent on the raw materials being good... sushi with bad or even mediocre fish is nasty!
