I probably would if I could find one that tasted okay but, since I haven't been able to, it's just extra calories for some goo that tastes awful and isn't really "enough" to replace a meal.
I feel like something that was filling and tasted good could replace a meal and be good for me but just adding calories that taste like doo doo... not so much.

I bought a goat's milk chocolate protein powder awhile ago. It's ok, not great.

No, but I buy them for my dad who was told that he needs to take in more protein.

I agree, besides, I would rather chew my food, I find it more satisfying! If I was trying to gain weight, then I would make sure every time I drank, it was full of calories. I figure, I'd put on about 20 pounds in a week, lol!

No but I should!

No, I don't really like them and like Wicked Wahine said, I much prefer to chew my food.

I do after strength training workouts.

I sometimes drink that creatine stuff. Comes in a big black tub-like container... Forgot the name of it, but it has a ton of protein & other good things in it. I like it in vanilla flavor. I add it to water, but most add to milk. I sometimes just add a scoop in my coffee -- tastes pretty good! I used to eat those protein bars & loved the organic protein squares, but I haven't bought any more. They're just too expensive!

When I have an early shift at work and know I'll be busy, I like Naked Naturals protein smoothies

I do not drink protein drinks but I eat protein bars all the time.

I have been trying to find a protein drink that I can buy here that is not Chinese and that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for shipping.
I feel I get enough foods and calories four out of the seven days of the week, I feel I need something extra on those three days. I do find that those three days my muscles get achey and tired, and I just don't have even ten minutes to myself to eat something proper. I mean, I can wolf something down, but then get ill for eating to quickly.
Any suggestions?

I do protein shakes for breakfast every single morning. I love them
05/02/2013
Eh, I have always hated them
05/02/2013
No, should I?
05/02/2013
No, but I have considered it. I find it hard to get the right amount of protein in my regular diet
05/02/2013
No, I'm allergic to dairy and soy and the only ones I've found without them taste like cough syrup.
05/02/2013
Nope.

I get enough protein from our meals. I dont think I could do the shakes.

I prefer actual food! I eat salmon, dairy and legumes for protein.

Very occasionally - they are an effective apatite suppressant.

Nope, but I should eat more protein rich foods.

If Ensure counts as protein drink then yes!
In my younger days I used to make my own version of an Orange Juilius, OJ, 1 Raw Farm Fresh Egg, & Alfalfa Sprouts blended really well together!

I do. Blend vanilla protein together with skimmed milk, a handful of berries and some stevia. It tastes amazing! Better than a milkshake.

I used to, but the whey made me gassy and feel bloated. I get plenty of protein from meat, flax, chia seeds, nuts, and legumes. I believe its better to get protein from unprocessed sources anyways.
