I used to donate...until I saw the way Goodwill in my area threw away bags and bags without even sorting because they didn't have the time to go through it. Now, I just toss it myself. Btw, I saw them throwing bags right out of the truck into the garbage...it's not like I took bags of crappy clothes.

I don't feel I can donate to major thrift stores due to their social and/or religious policies that I disagree with so I sell them or recycle them for making new clothes.

a lot of the time i wear my clothes til they actually fall apart and in that case i just throw them away, as the cloth is really worn/there's a lot of holes and stains/etc and they're not really functional anymore. and i'm not crafty enough atm to figure out a way to repurpose them. if my clothes are still wearable, like i just don't wear them anymore, i give them to friends or bring them to goodwill
