I just watched Marley and Me last night and bawled my head off! I also realize that I cry at the end of a lot of movies. Even happy endings, which creates a lot of teasing from my family and friends. Any one else? Or am I just a big baby?
Do you cry when watching a movie?

Sometimes happy endings get me even more than sad endings.

sometimes. the time traveler's wife was on HBO once, & my bf & i were lying in bed. he had control of the remote (& everything else in the room for that matter since it was his room). he was like, "hey babe, lets watch this." & i was like, "are you insane? this movie is going to be depressing." well, he made us watch it, & i cried, & then i beat him up for it (in a fun & playful way of course).

It depends. There are a few things that will get me but for the most part I don't cry.

Sometimes - Star Trek II and Donnie Darko will always have me crying If I can tell it's going to be really sad, like Marley and Me, I won't watch the end of it.

Heck, I cry when I watch commercials!! Yes I totally cried watching Marley and Me and when I read the book.

I balled when I read the book!! I think for how difficult that book was to duplicate they did an amazing job with the film. I boo hoo'd watching it too!

I usually shed tears quietly when going through sad parts of movies.

I almost teared up at the mention of Marley and Me! I do sometimes, it depends on who is with me and where I am emotionally. I made the HUGE mistake of watching For Colored Girls too soon to a personal travesty and I was a huge mess. Calling my girlfriend or anyone who would listen because I was crying so hard. omg, it was bad.

I do this a LOT... it always bothers me if I'm watching the movie with someone else and they tease me about it... it totally ruins the moment LOL
The latest one was "The Bucket List"... luckily I was watching the movie alone!

If I'm watching a movie with other people, I will not cry. If I'm watching a movie by myself, I definitely might cry. I guess I just don't like other people seeing me cry for some reason.

It's ridiculous what I cry at.....like seriously every movie at some point, and I cried once at a Cheerios commercial.

Oh my gosh, Marley and Me... Funny story.
I went to see that with my mother, my aunt and her daughter/my cousin. The 'rents sat across the theater from my cousin and I as it was packed, and at the very end of the movie, I heard my mom sob all the way across the theater. When it was over, I was the only one in the group who wasn't crying, and I think I got the word "heartless" thrown at me.
So, to answer the question, I generally don't cry at movies. There have been movies that have brought me almost to tears, but I've never really cried. The last one that almost got me was Boy in the Striped Pyjamas at the end when the mother was screaming and crying.

Yes, and I hate to admit it because people always think I'm such a hardass. So, I just don't watch sad movies around other people, lol.

Oh, thank god I am not a freak!!! Now, how about the national anthem, your favorite has won and weddings. OK, now I am officially an out of the closet bawl baby.

Sometimes I do.

I don't really cry. At least, not in reaction to something, but my eyes do leak for no apparent reason.

Yep, I cry during a lot of movies too. I used to try to hide it if I was watching it with someone else, but now I don't care so much if someone sees me.
10/01/2011
depends on the movie but yeah I do

my wife does all the time. It does not matter what type of movie, she will cry. I have only teared up for one movie. I can not remember the name. But I do remember that a father lost his kid. That made me sad. I could not imagine losing one of my kids.

I cry a lot during movies! can't help but get caught up in the emotions!

I cried so hard at the end of Marley and me.
I usually cry at the end ofmovies only sad ones though. Like last night I was watching the Buketlist, and I cried at the end of that movie.

I love that movie but I always dread the ending because I know I need tissues close by.
