I really don't understand how things like Uggs and Crocs became fashionable in the first place. People play it off like they're super comfortable, but Uggs are one of the least comfortable things to wear in the winter anywhere there's snow because they are really difficult to waterproof and will lead to soaking wet feet (which makes them super heavy!) more often than not. Crocs, too, can give bare feet blisters pretty easily, and the only seasoned Crocs wearer that I know has told me that though she finds them comfortable, she'd never go without socks while wearing them. What, then, is the point of the breathable (and hideous) design?
