I want to learn how to can my own fruits and veggies. We were going to do a garden this year but, it didn't work out. Kind of a good thing that we didn't since most gardens aren't doing too well with the drought.

I think it would be great to have a pantry full of fresh fruits and veggies. It would be healthier, cheaper, and if there was an emergency they would be great to have.

With the high cost of food, we've started our own garden and plan to can this fall. It's a great way preserve your food and cut down costs. Jam, jellies, sauces and pickling things are our favorites!
