I buy stuff on etsy frequently, and I also have an etsy store, Jinglysticks! I sell mostly hairsticks, but am branching out into other types of jewelery, mostly earrings right now.

Been there, never sold on Etsy and probably wouldn't. I personally don't love buying from there, but would and have under certain circumstances. There are plenty of Etsy shops who's owner I do trust and all, but usually I don't ever need anything available on Etsy. They do sell a lot of "organic and natural" soaps and skin/body care products and I like that because I only use natural, but I don't always trust a stranger who "handmade" soap that I'll be using on my crotch or in my mouth. So I usually buy my items from a reputable, trustworthy and credible shop. I just haven't ever been that interested in things sold on Etsy.

I used to buy a lot of eyeshadows, soaps and jewelry from Etsy. I haven't in a while. They've got some great stuff.

I've bought a few things on there. I don't buy very much because some sellers put way too high a value on some of the stuff they have for sale. When I find something I really like but can't afford to buy, I make my own version of it instead.

I'd consider opening a shop if I was a bit more creative. Right now I'm more into wood work than little things I could ship very easily. I've been updating furniture like crazy lately. I am interested in getting into crocheting and stuff, so maybe sometime I will.

There's lots of stores on Etsy that I'd like to order items from eventually actually.
But I won't be selling anything there myself, I'll either stick with ecrater or make my own site entirely.
Etsy has A) way too much competition and easy access to it & B) annoying fees for even just listing an item for sale...just not my kinda selling site.

I'd love to buy stuff from etsy, I wonder if visa gift cards work? I'm assuming no because it's through paypal and cards like that never work. I've never tried so I'm not sure, but if they work I'd love to buy stuff from etsy!

I love the mineral makeup on there but I'm cautious and I don't know if what they are using is high quality, of they're putting craft glitter in it instead of cosmetic glitter, ect. I don't really trust these small shops until I get to know them better like on their facebook or something. I'm not sure...

I love all the jewelry people make!

I'd like to sell on there, but I think most stuff I've ever looked at is overpriced. Ebay has gone downhill steadily over the years unfortunately and sticks it to sellers.

I've seen some pretty awesome things on Etsy but I haven't bought anything yet. I don't think I'll ever sell anything on there though since I don't really do any crafty type things that I could sell to anyone.

I made my one and only purchase on Etsy about two months ago - a Jollies silicone toy.

I did what I always do when shopping online - I did a search for coupons for that specific seller and was really surprised when I found a free shipping code. Saved me eight bucks!

Some shops accept direct checkout through etsy which will use the visa gift cards. Each shop can select their own payment methods, so not all will.
