We haven't quite started to really budget yet but we know what we need to put back for bills. When I get a job then I plan on budgeting things better being we will have two incomes instead of just my husband's. I think it's important for us simply because my husband has a gaming habit that he likes to fill (not excessively) and I want to start saving for Christmas (early I know, but my husband's gift will be costing around $350).

Things are tight so a good budget is a necessity for me.

Having a budget is a good thing. It does not matter if you have a little money or you are dealing with big figures a budget is just being responsible. It is just a tool to help your spending match your priorities.

I do have a budget figured out for my businesses. My husband and I have a mutual budget for expenses and we make our own for our individual expenses. Keeping the majority of our money separated really diminished a lot of negative issues in our relationship.

We've been strictly budgeted because we've been on one income that only gets a paycheck once a month. However, even as we start to have two incomes, it just doesn't make sense to pay more money for things if you don't have to.

Reasonably set budget, though I leave a small pool for fun things.
