Hubby and I have somewhat of an open relationship, and I was wondering who else does? If either one of us wanted "something" else in the relationship we talk about, and hubby has offered me the opportunity to bring someone else in or have a boyfriend, but because he is so open with me it makes me not want anything cause I know I can. I'm not as open though I think a threesome would be neat to try. I'd love to try the swinging thing, but with couples together in the same room, not actually switching.

What is everyones experiences?

Never done this and never want to. I don't share and neither does my partner. We give each other everything we want and have no need to go elsewhere.

I think 3somes are a bad idea. In most cases they end up causing problems.

Just not for me.

Hubby and I don't do the swinging/3some scene. I've always felt it to be "single's play". I don't have anything against it and it works well for some, just not for us.

Definitely not for me. I'm the jealous type. Hubby and I stick to each other and each other only. That may be just us, but we see marriage as a commitment to each other and no one else comes in the mix. And I have also heard threesomes are a bad idea because they cause problems. So I never will let that happen or be part of one.

There's actualy a thread about this in the polyamory section! I have an open relationship with my husband and we have a life partner as well. My husband is much more of a swinger than either myself or our life partner but we are moving toward a bit more adventure and he is looking for a bit more stability. It is a fluid and constantly evolving lifestyle and suits us perfectly.
