I sleep for about 4 hours then wake up and nap before work
I sleep better in front of a fan (SNAP I forgot that one) and the tv is a must. I can not have music on... I will dance. I can not sleep without the BF snoring.. its like a safety blanket

I dont sleep much

I have insomnia. I was taking meds for it but I heard some things that scared me off of them. I hate to rely on drugs but some nights I just cannot take it any longer. I have Xanax for anxiety that I take if I feel an anxiety attack coming on but lately I've been relying on them to relax me to sleep. I also take melatonin sometimes. I've been meaning to get my butt down to GNC, I hear glycine sticks are good for sleep but couldn't find it at Wal-Mart. I haven't tried CVS or Walgreens. I must check this out this week.

This sounds odd, but I like quiet. But lately, I have only been able to fall asleep with the TV on quietly in the background. I also wear earplugs, I know, weird because of the TV. I still hear my alarm clock go off but not much else. It has to be dark. I just use the TV til I fall asleep then it gets turned off if I wake up.

I'm having issues now Fell asleep around 4, woke up at 5 feeling like I had been out for hours. Laid back down and finally passed out again only to wake up to a nightmare that almost had me in tears and now I'm just a little shaken up and can't get comfortable. Gotta love nightmares!

I need something like a white noise, or traffic or some sort of background noise.

It's much harder for me to fall asleep with a lot of light. Pitch black is the way to go!

I need it to be dark. I also have insomnia so sometimes I use sleep aids or pills but usually I just try to keep a regular bedtime and use the bed ONLY FOR SLEEPING.

I also work at night. Usually I am fine if I can work out for a while before bed time and if my windows are all covered so the room is dark. I will occasionally use melatonin vitamin tablets to help me get to sleep faster.

We both have insomnia so it's always a battle. Fortunately, we both like having some white noise going in the background. I don't necessarily need complete darkness though, and sometimes it helps me to have something like Netflix (or the TV) going really softly for background noise.

And of course, sleep meds are my friends! lol I take a cocktail of OTC and Rx stuff to help me sleep (designed by my doctor, don't worry) and so does my man. We both take Valerian Root in our cocktails, but I skip the melatonin. I had a sleep specialist explain to me that melatonin really isn't proven to work at all, but Valerian Root is. So I switched from melatonin to Valerian.

I always have the radio going and am taking Ambien. Without the drugs I don't sleep more than a few hours a night, with them I can get a good 7-8 hours.

It's really hard for me to fall asleep. If I keep the TV on, I'll watch it. I normally play with my phone until I am tired enough to sleep.

I use earplugs. I'm really sensitive to sounds and whatnot.

It has to be dark and silent. I also usually take melatonin because I have a really hard time falling asleep most nights. There have been nights I've taken melatonin and still laid in bed for 7 hours wide awake.

I have to know where every window is and door is and I also need to be able to see in order for me to be able to sleep. I dont mind dark but if I cant see I cant sleep. I'm paranoid.

I vastly prefer watching something to fall asleep. I just watch something on my ipod so I dont need to leave the tv on or set a sleep timer

It must be dark or I can't sleep. I also have a fan near the bed which helps me sleep. I don't like having to take medication for it but I have taken Melatonin sometimes to help me sleep.
