My mom and I looked through all the sale papers and I've been scouring the internet the past few weeks waiting anxiously for sales, but frankly I just didn't find anything that great (online OR in stores). Even the laptop and TV sales didn't seem that super crazy amazing to me. Am I just jaded or were the sales a little lame this year? Did anyone else find anything good?

I did some shopping last night. I got new sheets, a new comforter, new blankets for my son, some throws, and restocked on my body products. Savings = $600.

Today we went to the outlets and got me a new purse and wallet, some toys for Christmas for my son, and some new clothes for my husband. Total savings = around $500-$600.

I went to Wal Mart at 8 PM last night to grab some $25 video games last night. That was terrible! I did get a laptop, some jeans, and some things off Eden today online. Aside from my large Eden purchase, everything was stuff we really needed.

no black friday shopping for me. I agree though, nothing was too impressive. I remember a news story last year that tracked sales through the holiday season and they said that prices usually go back down to their black friday level in the days surrounding Xmas.

I am holding out for one particular cyber monday sale, though!

We went tonight, just got back a couple hours ago. My lovie got my new camera on sale for a pretty damn good price -- got $200 OFF! And we bought a few t-shirts (Nirvana for me, which was on sale for $10. And I forgot the shirt he got.) $10 for a shirt isn't like mind-blowingly a great deal in my cheap opinion, but a pretty good one considering band tees are usually around $24. Besides that I don't think we really bought anything else.

I had to work all night Black Friday. I bought myself and my fiance a few things, but not really much. Mostly I just got pajama pants because I can never find really good ones for a good price. I just shopped through everything that had already been picked through Thursday night. I didn't have anything in particular that I wanted.
