Champagne is another name for diamonds that are so yellow they are not remotely white. Chocolate diamonds are that now too. It's a smart marketing ploy. Then again, so is diamonds in general.

I'm a purist with diamonds. White ones. Once they are colored they lose value. There are so many other stones out there with color that getting a colored diamond is a waste.
