I grow weary of using clippers on my bum and privates. I'm thinking of permanent hair removal. Have you?

This might make some people cringe, but I occasionally pluck my pubes (front side only). They don't return for about a month, it only takes me about thirty to forty minutes because I'm not that hairy and it's a lot less painful than waxing for me.
((plus it's resistant to ingrown hairs, stubble and that faint brown patch of hair just below the surface I get otherwise))

I wouldn't mind a little laser removal between the buttocks.

Never done it but thought about it.

My sister has had it done. She flinched every time they put the machine on her. It shocks you! I was thinking about it, but after seeing that I think I can do without it. Plus it takes several treatments for it to be completely gone.

I hate shaving and I get such terrible ingrown hair on my pubes, super annoying.
Great discussion, I am always curious about it.

You're not the only one, hun. I regularly pluck my pubes, but it's about a week before they start growing back in.

Done it, tried Kalo (a hair inhibitor) and many, many other things. NOTHING changed. It wasted a load of money and I've finally stuck with epilating and it's been the ONLY thing that's given me "relief."

Never considered it.

I've had it done (although not were you are thinking of getting it). It's really not that bad, in my opinion, although I have a high pain tolerance. The two methods that I have had to keep the pain away were: 1) the technician applied very cold gel, then did the process or 2) the technician pointed a tube that blew cold air at me while doing the treatment.
The treatment worked very well, although you probably will have to go back for at least 1 follow up, as there is only a certain window in which the hair can be removed correctly. (I think it is 4 or so weeks after shaving/getting a treatment).
Let me know how it goes if you get it done down under!
