how many women out there have just been working on something, minding your own business, when suddenly, BAM... your period hits you? i was in my 1 of my classes today when something like this happened to me. i usually have some kind of warning signs, like light cramps a day or 2 before hand. i started getting them about an hr before it happened, & even though i thought i would be fine, i packed a pad in my backpack anyway. i was in the middle of working on something w/ the teacher when suddenly, i felt this quick & large flow. i though, oh good lord, that better not be what i think it is. i couldn't get to the restroom till i was done w/ what i was working on. once i got there, i found it had gone through my panties & onto my pants. luckily, it wasn't too much & i was wearing black work out pants. i didn't even think i was due for another week. but, it's almost the same day as last month. hey mother nature, next time, i would like a little more warning that 1 f*** hr!
damn you mother nature

That happened to me a bunch of times when I was a teenager. I would be totally fine sitting in my desk at school when I would get this weird feeling in my pelvis and I would then feel something trickle out of my vagina.

Ditto...happens so often that even if I KNOW I am not due for my period I will check if I get that light tickling sensation!

Before I was on birth control this would happen all the time! I hated it! Luckily now I miss my period most of the time, but on that surprise month where I do get it, I don't get any real warnings and it's never at any regular time, so it's always an interesting surprise...the only part of that which I can be thankful for is that when it does start it is VERY light (almost spotting) for the first 4 or 5 hours.

Happens to me most of the time. It seems to approach when I am least expecting it.

Similar thing happened to me last month, and worst of all, it was more than a week ahead of schedule!!! Ever since that incidence, I wear a liner every day just in case.
