I don't take them, I'm thinking about it though. Does anyone take daily vitamins? Do they work?
Do you take Daily Vitamins?

I take them because I'm a vegetarian and they work great. I don't eat well at all but my medical tests always say I'm not deficient in anything. I take One A Day Women's Multivitamins, and also iron pills on the side because I need extra of that.
Your body will only take in as much as is needed though. So if you already receive all the nutrients you need in food, vitamins won't do much because your body doesn't need them.

I take One A Day Women's Multivitamins along with some extra Calcium, Fish Oil and Acidophilus tablets.

I worked in the health food-alternative medicine-vitamins, herbs, supplement industry for five years and I can tell you yes they work. Technically even though people always say one a day's are the way to go and all you need, our body can only process so much at a time and what it doesn't utilize it passes out in your urine especially water-soluable vitamins such as Vitamin B's and C. With that being said, it is best to take a vitamin that you take 1 3 X a day. We sold a lot of Life's Fortune and Rainbow Light vitamins.

I take prenatal vitamins. I'm not pregnant, but I like how they make my hair and nails grow.

I take vitamins and supplements daily, and here's my list: Damiana, Black Cherry fruit extract, Vitamin D3, Super B complex, Garlicin, Fish Oil, and Probiotic Acidophilus pill. And I also drink Cranberry juice with fresh lime juice added.

Depending on your diet, vitamins are helpful. But you shouldn't bother with the cheap ones, they're useless. If you eat a really healthy diet, you shouldn't really need vitamins though.

I take about 25 vitamins a day - haven't been seriously ill for more than 10 years - the vitamins may or may not have anything to to do with it - but I'm sticking with my regimen.

I have several health conditions and vitamin deficiencies so yes, I take several different vitamins as well as a multi. They help and my bloodwork shows the results.

I am taking a prenatal vitamin (Garden of Life brand) since my husband and I are planning to TTC this August.

Nope, I'm too forgetful.

Yup! Take a daily vitamin & also an iron pill since I am a vegetarian. Never been declared deficient in anything by a doctor, so I'd assume they work.

I used to take a daily multiple and now more medical research is seeming to show it can do more harm then good!!!! I am more and more leery of PILLS verses good nutrition.

I do because sometimes I don't eat a lot in the day so I need the nutrients. When i was on vacation and I forgot them, i really felt it after a bit of time. Then again i wasn't getting a lot of good meals, mostly take out.

I take a whole food vitamin. I haven't had a cold since.

Yes and yes! Technically, you should be able to get the nutrients you need from your diet, but most people do not eat as well as they should. You can be tested to see what you are deficient in by hair analysis or blood work.
