Although I like both purple and blue, purple and pink are pretty standard (and boring) colors for toys. I'd go blue for that reason, unless it was sky or navy blue vs a very dark, almost black purple. Then I'd have trouble.

In clothing, blue all the way.

Purple, personally. My guy's favorite color is blue, so I like to get blue lingerie and stuff for him.
