Corn...on the cob, creamed, from a can, popped, roasted...how do you like yours best?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
I am a huge "on the cob" fan, but lately, I have (thanks to Food Network) been using a new "formula" (not traditional boil and butter ears). I now slather the ear in butter and honey, sprinkle on, or roll in cinnamon sugar, wrap it in aluminum foil and then "roast" it on the grill (in my kitchen) or on the BBQ.

It causes the honey/sugar to caramelize and the whole thing is sort of like candy/veggie. It is so, so, so good with a crisp, light summer salad and maybe some fresh baked bread.

Amazing, yummy meal.

How do you like your best "corn"?

I love corn done any way, though I guess I'm not crazy about canned (or anything canned, for that matter.) My very favorite would probably be corn cobs on the grill slathered in butter and sea salt. My mouth is watering just thinking about it...

That sounds really good! Sadly I don't eat corn on the cob, I inherited my grandmother's loose, soft teeth, so I'd be afraid I'd pull one out while chomping down .

I like to take corn on the cob and rub it down with butter, mayo, salt, chili powder, and parmesean cheese then wrap it in foil and grill it all into it. So good!

I like many kinds of corn, but my favorite is sweet corn taken directly from the stalk and eaten raw.
