Mayo and ketchup mixed together.
What condiment do you eat your fries with?

I like to mix it up. Most often it's plain. After that, it's ranch. and beyond that, it's kind of just up to whatever they have.

bbq

I like mine with either BBQ sauce or dipping them into a wendys frosty
07/27/2011
Really depends, ranch or a mix of ketchup and ranch is awesome. But i like a bunch of different ones.
07/27/2011
I usually go plain, but if bbq sauce or tabasco ketchup is in front of me then I'll use some of it. Maybe even ranch on occasion.

Cheese!
07/27/2011
Salt, though I guess that's not exactly a condiment. Vinegar. I used to have this party trick of downing shots of vinegar.

Plain fries

It's kinda funny really... ketchup started off as a fish-based sauce in coastal areas of Asia (somewhere between western China to Vietnam area).

I like malt vinegar (totally different from regular white vinegar) on my fries. Ketchup works though.
I think you can cover anything in Ranch or melted cheese and people will eat it.
There's a place near me called "Bagger Daves" where you can dress your fries up like a burger/salad/stuff. The last time I went there I had my fries with their chili type sauce, sauteed onions and mushrooms, blue cheese, basil, and something else. It was arm-numbingly good!

Usually ketchup or plain with salt. Although, if I'm making something with gravy, I'll go "Canadian" and put gravy on my fries instead.

I made Chicken Fried Steak last night (paper thin steaks) and served it with fries (frozen, oh well) green beans and home made gravy. YUM! I put the gravy all over my steak and my fries.
I want some now.
One of my daughters hates ketchup and eats her fries (when she eats them, as she really eats healthy most of the time) with mustard. I can't get into that, but she likes it.
I've heard the Dutch eat their french fries with mayonnaise. I've tried it, it's pretty good.

I was always taught that ketchup became popular in European countries to cover the smell and taste of rancid meat.
I prefer french fries dipped in honey mustard or polynesian sauce or sweet n sour sauce. I don't like the honey mustards from fast food chains as they are usually way too sweet, but a local chain restaurant makes a bangin' HM sauce. When I'm at home I use BBQ sauce.
And there's nothing more heavenly than a steaming plate of chili cheese fries!

Mustard, mayo or steak sauce, but more usually mustard just because it's the most commonly found on restaurant tables of the 3.
07/27/2011
I eat fries with just mustard.

Don't knock the A1 until you try it.

Yeah, it's just a wee bit too expensive to be using as dip for fries unless you're already eating steak.

But, you know what? I'll totally break into it for deep fried tater tots. A little bit of sour cream and some A-1 and they magically taste like loaded baked potatoes!

I like mixing ketchup and mayo and dipping my fries in it.
07/27/2011
Wow I didn't think anyone other than my daughter dunks her fries in milkshakes.
I am ketchup obsessed.

Ketchup...although Ranch dressing is not that bad either
07/27/2011
If i dont eat my fries plain with salt and pepper or with cheese and chilli or cheese and bacon it would have to be ranch.
07/27/2011
I sometimes use ketchup, but I also use vinegar. Occasionally ranch or cocktail sauce if that's what's available.

Ketchup or plain...but honestly, I was in England and did have some with malt vinegar and they were pretty darn good.

A tie between ketchup & BBQ Sauce.
07/27/2011
I can never choose just one mostly, but ketchup mixed with mayo is the bomb (only if it comes out of packets).
07/27/2011
I only eat fries from Maccas, so they just have salt on them. Although, if I have a cone or thickshake, I like to dip my fries in them!
Otherwise I only cook wedges at home and I like sour cream on them.
I hate tomato sauce on my chips!

When I worked at McDonald's a co worker turned me on to the fries and honey mustard. I used to eat them with ketchup but now the HM is an absolute must

My favorite thing is a Crispy Chicken Club Meal (no tom)w/ L Diet and HM for the fries!

Honey mustard is my absolute favorite. Occasionally I will dip them in a milkshake, ketchup, or BBQ sauce.
