Do you or have you ever identified with any cliques? Whether it be in high school, or in your adult life.

I've always been on the outside, even when people actually like me. How about you lovexroads88?

I have inadvertantly been in cliques--but found out after the fact. I do not want to or identify with belonging to cliques...I prefer to like many different types of personalities and people rather than just one group. I had people tell me at a later date that I was considered a part of a few cliques just because I had friends from all walks of life. Who knows--it always surprised me I guess...I never have or will want to be like that...

I get along with pretty much anyone. I haven't ever been a part of any definite clique.

In hs chili grades 1-12 I was always on the outside of all clques. Same in the work place when I started my full time job. I feel more a part of groups now in my professional life and being with a higher level of maturity.

I've never identified as being part of a clique. I usually come across as standoffish and some think it is aloofness.
I have been told many times that I am cliquey, but I don't really beleive it as the people I was friends with/am friends with we bring new people into our group on a regular basis because they are fun positive, optimistic people. If a person is needy, clingy and negative/downer, do you really think that I can be blamed for not wanting to be around you?

I've always been a very open person, not wanting anyone to feel left out. When I was young, I was friends with everyone and didn't really have a 'core' group. I wanted everyone to feel accepted, because I knew how much rejection hurt. As a result, I never got extremely close with anyone and was never a part of a certain group.
