How early is too early? I've seen Christmas decorations in stores already and I just wanted to know what you guys think? Does anyone start decorating or buying decorations in November or do you wait until after Thanksgiving?

They're already up around me, in one case mixed in confusingly with last week's Halloween decorations, so there's a witch on a broomstick swooping down on Santa's sleigh. And there's also a giant inflatable turkey and a flag for a non-local sports team. So perhaps that house isn't typical.

I haven't seen any Christmas decorations yet (except for the few houses that leave their lights up year round). Most people won't start til Thanksgiving, but we don't start til Dec. 1.

As long as it's after December 5th, I'm ok with it.
Too early: Before Thanksgiving, for sure!

I think it's too early anytime before december. But the stores are already filled with decorations, wreaths, etc! They have been since before halloween.

Thanksgiving is not the same day for us here in Canada.
As for what it too early? It's never too early for me. I'm terribly in love with the holiday. I was just saying on another thread that last year it was in August and I told my partner that I was done Christmas shopping, everything was wrapped, and I wanted to put up the tree. He said no so we didn't.... but I would have if I was alone.
Something about the lights, tree, decorations, and wrapped presents under the tree just makes me in such a great mood.
...but I'm weird like that.
