I know I have 3-4 sticks laying around in various spots so that my lips never suffer, but how about you guys? Do you use different brands? What do you do with them when Spring comes?
I use rosebud salve and it keeps my lips very soft, especially when I apply it at night before going to bed. I use lip balm year round. I always want to have nice lips!

I've got the fruity Blistex ones. I try to keep one wherever I'm at. When I was delivery driving, I kept one in my coat pocket. Now it floats between my purse and my nightstand. In the spring, I generally keep using them, just not as much.
Burt's Bees is what I use. It seems to be the only brand that works and doesn't lead me into a cycle of needing to reapply every half hour. I use it all year round so spring doesn't change anything for me
A little off topic, but I find it ridiculous that my guy friends make fun of me if I use chap stick. Any guys care to share why this is? Is it because it's the same shape as lip stick or are we just supposed to be to manly to care about cracked lips? lol
I always buy a tube for the winter and throw it in the bottom of my purse never to be used. My guy hates anything on my lips and I love to kiss him. Instead, I rub my lips with the face towel when I get out of the shower. Gets all the dead skin off. Not everyone should do this. I've never had severe dry cracked lips unless I was sick, our winters are extremely mild.
I swear by Carmex and bag balm. bag balm, while it smells funny is the best moisturizer I have ever come across, and the only thing that helps my daughter when she gets a diaper rash.

I use Chapstick. I just started using the cherry flavor.
I usually put straight shea butter on my lips. I find that chapstick makes my lips more dry than they originally were so I try and use things that aren't so drying
I love Bonne Bell Lip Smackers for the scents/flavors. My favorites are the pop flavored/scented ones, like Coca Cola and Dr. Pepper, but a lot of the other ones are fun.
Hehe wow, lots of variation in lip moisturizers. I really enjoy chap stick. Sometimes I get the cherry because it smells better, but sometimes I'll get the blue one because I like the color blue.

How do they make fun of you? Perhaps its because it looks like lipstick like you mentioned, or maybe another reason would be because they think its a joke that you'd be kissing a girl/boy. (whatever your preference) Since some people will apply chap stick to make sure their lips are nice and smooth before kissing. (Also, not saying this is the reason, just a possible reason)
yes to carrots or burts bees before bed, any other time I use something candy flavored I end up throwing away about half of the candy ones because I don't like the texture or consistency of it.
