A lot of the USA is still buried in tons and tons of snow. Next comes flooding as it melts. Ouch.

This is true. I'm currently in Ca and we haven't received much rain this year. It's too bad you guys in the heavy snow states can't ship some of that snow out this way.

we'll not caught in it. It's high 50's and low 60's where we'll at now. And that is cold for us ! Can't wait for summer to come again !

Besides flooding, a lot of those people might also have to deal with collapsing roof situation, I feel bad for them.

We only had a bit of snow and ice in Oregon, but the wind was extremely gusty. There were lots of downed trees and caused power outages all over the place.
