Cartilage piercings take different people different amounts of time to heal. Jewelry can play a big part in it too, for instance if you have your rook pierced with a hoop of some sorts, it will take a lot longer than if you have it done with a barbell. How it was pierced can affect it as well. Going to Claire's and having them pierce your cartilage with the gun can take 4 times as long to heal as having it done with a hollow needle.
For me, they all took a decently long time for the most part. My industrial piercing took almost 2 years to fully heal, I have 3 hoops in the cartilage in the other ear that took about a year and a half to be comfortable. My tragus' both healed in about 2 months, the rook I had pierced with a barbell was healed in a month or two but the one with the hoop didn't heal until I changed the hoop out for a barbell. My nostril took about 10 months I think.
So now I have to ask exactly where in your cartilage you have pierced, what kind of jewelry is in it, and how was it done?

My industrial piercing also took about 2 years to heal fully. I have 2 pinna piercings that took a year to heal.
