I just instinctively memorize the numbers on things like my Mastercard, health card, drivers license, student card, library card, okay-I'm-a-nerd-and-wi ll-stop-listing card. I'm curious as to whether anyone else suffers from this, or whether anyone memorizes card numbers on purpose. I mean, it really helps me out whenever I need the numbers even though I don't do it on purpose.
Card number memorization - do you do it?

No. I have a hard enough time trying to remember my ID number for work.
03/14/2013
Not good at remembering numbers.
03/14/2013
I don't do this but my S.O. does! He knew all the bank account numbers, card numbers...it seemed like everything!
03/14/2013
I used to know my debit card information for my old bank account off the top of my head, but I haven't done it for my current one. It's cut down on a lot of my internet spending and calling out for pizza because I need to really think about whether I should get up and get the card out of my purse.
I does bug me, however, that I haven't memorized my son's social security number yet. I know my own and my husband's.

I don't/can't. Not a number person!
03/15/2013
I can barely remember my own phone number! D; I'm so bad with that sort of thing. The only card I have memorized is my SS card haha
03/15/2013
Only drivers license and SS cards. My mind won't hold anymore numbers
03/15/2013
I do that, too. Any number I use more than a few times, I end up memorizing without trying. I thought I would stop doing it with phone numbers when I got a cellphone with a big display, but I still do it.
03/15/2013
I don't. The only thing I can remember is my security code on the back of my card.
03/15/2013
The cards are close enough in my wallet, so there is no reason for me to remember the numbers. Too many digits anyways.
03/15/2013
I know my social security number, driver's license, and my favorite credit card number. I also try to memorize certain phone numbers just in case, because you never know when you might lose your phone and you need to know numbers.
03/15/2013
Nope, I'm terrible with remembering numbers. I know my SS card number and my phone number, and even with those I get the numbers mixed around sometimes.
03/15/2013
I am re-memorizing them--it is easy for me but sucks to start all over....
03/15/2013
Drivers license social security checking account.... That's about it.....
03/15/2013
I only have my social security number memorized.
03/15/2013
Only did this with a credit card I used online frequently enough I learned it from entering it! lol! Back in the days of online sales to entice new customers when stores would do promos like $20 off your first order of $20 and 99 cent shipping. lol
03/15/2013
Yes, I end up memorizing many numbers, but I try not to be obsessive about it, which I could easily be
03/15/2013
I have one of my debit card number memorized, but that wasn't intentional. I just ordered a lot of food over the phone at my last job and I guess since then it just stuck in my memory haha. I probably won't remember the number for the new debit card I just got though.
03/17/2013
I often times do it on accident. I know my SS number by heart, my debit card number, and a bunch of people's phone numbers and license plate numbers. That last one, because every time i see one of my friends cars, I read the license plate. I'm not a stalker I promise xD
03/17/2013
No, I'm terrible at memorizing series of numbers.
03/17/2013
I don't do it on purpose, but I do remember certain numbers after enough uses.
03/17/2013
I've memorized my DL#, my social, and my credit card. I use them too much, not to have them memorized. I hate having a bunch of useless phone numbers in my head.

No, but my husband does

I have my social security number, drivers license, and library card number memorized. I had my debit card memorized but then I had to get a whole new card because some low life in town stole around 800+ card numbers from the grocery stores system.
04/22/2013
I memorize super important numbers but never card numbers.
04/22/2013
I've memorized my social security number, bank account, debit card, and employee ID number. I can't seem to remember my student ID (which is really annoying because it's not on my ID card, so I have to look it up online every time I need it).

Ours had the annoying quality of being the number on your student ID plus two digits at the end. For some reason, I could never remember the two digits, haha.
