My brother, who is in his early twenties likes to refer to his girlfriend as his "Old Lady" which I think is a lil odd and funny. I was wondering if anyon in the EF world calls there partner this as well?

My hubby started to about 10 years ago--I hate the term so luckily that one went out the door!!

stopped many years ago.

No I've never had a partner call me that and I wouldn't use the term either.

I just like calling my partner by his real name

I voted for my husband, who will often refer to me as this with his co-workers. Drives me nuts.

No - there's nothing 'old fashioned' about it, I just consider it rude and would never refer to the love of my life that way.
11/22/2012
I don't do that, and probably wouldn't because it's just not a term I like.
But I don't really think it's too "old fashioned" for me.
If my man called me his "old lady" I'd have to put a stop to it pretty quickly too.
Pretty sure no woman I know would want to be referred to as an old lady anyway. xD

I only do it when I'm teasing him, he's younger than me.

I think it's a funny term of endearment. Never used it or had it used it on me, but I don't have a problem with it. Seems like good-natured, affectionate teasing.
11/22/2012
Nope, I don't like that.

I only hear that term on "Sons of Anarchy", no one around me uses it.

Would seem weird to me

Nope. Too weird
11/23/2012
Negative I'm not old. So it seems to weird.

Cat E.
I've always hated those terms.

No, I don't like those terms.

We don't really care for those terms.
11/23/2012
nah
11/23/2012
Hell yes. Pet names rule.

I don't like either of those terms personally - but not because they're "old fashioned". I just think they're rude, insulting and disrespectful.

Nope. Never.

No, never, I think it's cheesy

Only in the Cheech and Chong comedy sketch "Santa Claus and His Old Lady Commune". I'm actually neutral on the whole over their use.
My Dad calls my mother "Old Woman" whenever they do their "old age" bickering.

I can't stand when I hear people say this to their boyfriend or girlfriend especially when they are a younger couple. I would never call my boyfriend my old man.
11/23/2012
Old Man sound more like something to call my father. Not calling my spouse that.

Never have done that
