I'm the baker in my family/group, but I don't like cake really. I only bend for carrot cake with very cream cheesy frosting. Then and only then will I eat cake.

Marble swirl cake. I've never had an actual strawberry cake that wasn't just strawberry frosting though. I'll have to look into that.

Many years ago when I was a hungry student just surviving working as a busboy in a "fine dining" restaurant. The restaurant's baker gave me some leftover white cake. I have never since had any cake that was nearly as delicious as that was.

they sell it as a boxed mix and i always use chocolate or cream cheese frosting sooo yummie
