Bucket List Vacation? Where MUST everyone see ONCE in a lifetime, in your opinion? Have YOU been there, or just want to go?

What is on your list of MUST SEE places in your lifetime? Have you been able to visit that place and was it really THAT amazing????

I have had the opportunity to travel a bit, but I still think the one place EVERYONE must see, at least once, in person is NIAGARA FALLS (I am partial to the Canadian Side view). It is just breathtaking...and night or day is an amazing...AMAZING site.

I would LOVE to see the pyramids....however, politics being what they are now, in the middle east and in Egypt, don't know if that is ever going to happen!

What is on YOUR "must see" place list?

NZ is beautiful!
My favourite is Rotorua. I was annoyed for many years that my parents moved us to AU.
Although, now I understand why - it is easier in AU ... in some aspects.

Maybe it's not very creative, but I think everyone needs to see Yellowstone national park.

I think a trip to the Mediterranean areas of Italy and Greece with my girl would be fantastic.

I'd like to say Italy, but I have to knock the romanticized version out of my head first, otherwise I'll be severely disappointed.

It's much like Paris Syndrome. That psychological disorder that affect mainly Japanese tourists, who romanticise Paris so much in their advertising, that they're disappointed by the reality. Seriously. Look it up: link

Right now, my bucket lis vacation would be to Australia or Scotland.

I traveled all over Europe, but I never got the chance to see Scotland. I like Scotch, and I'd love to see the Old Course at St. Andrews.

I've also always wanted to go to Australia. No particular reason except that I'd like to try to get to 6 of the 7 continents before I die. I'm not interested in Antarctica, so that one isn't on the list.

London. I've been there, but I don't feel like I've seen everything I want to see. It's such a beautiful city, with so much history.
