I always thought that letting anyone see you wearing any recognizable brands is just "making money for the manufacturer" (aka advertising them) - and though of course there ARE things what ARE good for you, in general it is like "spreading this tainted consumerism" by advertising it... (And I DON'T believe that the money system is good as it is nowadays... And gods know, maybe in general... ^^)
Brand names and logos: do you avoid showing them off like a plague too? :D

I'm this way too. I never wear brand names openly.

Everybody who says that doesn't wear brand names I bet you got some brand name sneakers such as 'nike'.

Actually, I lie. I have one pair of Converse, but only because they are the MOST lovely shade of lavender (even then, I hardly wear them)! As a general rule, I hate sneakers on me.
The only way I'll wear a logo is if the logo is cute or interesting, like the one's from Harajuku Lovers or tokidoki. But that's about it.

If I like a brand, I don't mind wearing a shirt/purse that has their logo/name on it. No big deal to me. I guess it depends on the style/pattern/etc of the item. If it's hideous (in my opinion), then I won't wear it. If I like it, I'll wear it.
I don't go out of my way to avoid it. If I like a company, I don't mind representing them. If EF had nicer apparel, I'd be flaunting their logo/website all over- everyday.

I generally don't wear things with logos on them, but not on any moral or political grounds. I just think that, more often than not, logos aren't attractive to wear. If a brand I like has a tastefully-designed logo, then I'll wear it happily, especially if it's for a company I genuinely like.

I don't understand shirts or shorts where the only differences between the brand name and a Wal-Mart shirt are the price and the logo, like Zoo York or Abercrombie and Fitch. It's kinda like they're buying and wearing the clothes simply to show off the brand name at that point. Most of the time, I find the logos to be boring and simply uninteresting.
