Books anyone? What are you reading?

Contributor: Miss Anonymous Miss Anonymous
I tend to read alot. I've been reading more now then ever to hide away from real world...

I was wondering do you guys have any good books to recommend? I like just about anything. Fiction, YA, Horror, Thrillers, Drama, all that good stuff. I'm not HUGE on romance. I don't know why, I guess because I haven't found that one book that would make me fall in romance books. lol

What I currently have on my Kindle Fire

Meany
Such a pretty girl
The perks of being a wallflower
Forbidden
Sold
Unloveable
Dark House
Living dead girl
The hunger games
Catching fire (2nd book in the hunger games)
Mocking Jay (3rd book in the hunger games)
Deepest cut.

and a few more....

So what do you like to read? Favorite books?

If you haven't read "the perks of being a wallflower" before, it's SO GOOD. I read it when I was maybe 15 and it's still one of my favorite books today at 25.

right now I'm reading 'mockingjay'. it's taking me forever to get in to. it's not holding my attention the way that the first two books did. whenever I finish it, I'm probably reading 'pride and prejudice and zombies' lol

I just downloaded "the perks of being a wallflower" today. I've herd so many good things about that book. I'm excited to read it.

I'm almost done with the first book in the hunger games. I love it so far. I also seen that book in the store "pride and prejudice and zombies" I'm really curious about that one.

I just finished "A Feast For Crows" and I'm about to start "A Dance With Dragons". Also in my about-to-read pile: the second Abarat book, "The Candymakers", the Hunger Games trilogy, the second half of the Wheel of Time series, and "Ready Player One" which I am SUPER EXCITED ABOUT. I got all of these except the Hunger Games Trilogy, as well as some 10 or so more, for the holidays but I still haven't gotten through them all.

Oh, if you like those, you might would like Charlotte Figg takes over Paradise! I got it free on my Kindle and didn't think I'd like it since I tend to read thriller, but it turned out to be a fabulous book!

Favorite book of all time: The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester. It's 50s sci-fi, and amazing.
I'd also recommend anything but Heinlein, but obviously I'm a sci-fi nut.
Recently I read The Reader by Bernhard Schlink. They made a good movie adaptation, but the book is even better.

mockingjay ended up being REALLY GOOD once I got a few chapters in. I finally finished it (took forever to get past the first maybe 5 chapters?) I decided to read "the help" next. good so far. Not normally the kind of thing I read, but I just started it yesterday and I'm about a third of the way done.
