Have you ever caught yourself staring at such pictures of erotic material for a long time?

Has it ever turned you on?

Do you think that there is a really "thick line" between wanting and doing, or is it so thin that it's better not even to think of the idea?

(It freaks me out and I find it most horrible, but I still notice that at times curiosity takes over, and I see "something more" in there - I still wonder though what it is what captures the human interest when it comes to something one would never do - at least I don't think it is something you would wanna participate in, do you? )

I really try to stay away from the stuff, including the "snuff porn" horror movies that are so popular these days. The images make me feel extremely uneasy and sick to my stomach, and give me bad dreams and, sometimes, when I am feeling more sensitive, it makes me not want to be touched by anyone or even look at anyone.

It really, really makes me sick.

I guess it really depends on what counts as "blood and gore".

I've seen some artistic bloodplay and other, harder, things put on for show by consenting and risk-aware parties. I can appreciate it - the art, the stamina, the boatloads of pain and triumph of mind over matter, but it doesn't arouse me. Discomfort, wonderment, that kind of thing.

Pictures that have blood in them aren't necessarily unsexy to me, it just depends on the content and reasons. I know it's not uncommon, but I just don't like non-con. If someone is getting whipped, I want them to be enjoying getting whipped.

Of course, all bets are off when it comes to art pieces that transcend the typical.

I think small amounts of blood are attractive - I LOVE nosebleeds. Bruises, too. I don't get turned on by pictures extreme gore though, no matter what the context... But sometimes I get odd violent urges when I see attractive people. Like, "ohh his arms are sooo thin and cute, I just want to snap them in two," and I mean it, and have a fleeting fantasy of doing so. But of course I'd never act on it. The fantasies I get of such urges are rather cartoonish, actually.

I don't really look at it but I do like the taste of blood so I suppose I might consider trying the really, really tame stuff.

I'm incredibly disturbed by violence, and even more so that we're conditioned by exposure to it on a regular basis.

If I'm looking at erotica, it needs to be overtly sexual with vanilla or light to moderate BDSM elements in it. If it starts to venture off into violence, blood/ gore or non consensual play, I start to get freaked out by it and get totally turned off.

I find a tiny bit of blood play sexy. But I am not really into gore or super intense pain. I think I am more vanilla than most : )
