Well, I was wondering what are the best and one of the not so good moments of your life.
Heres mine
So for goood moments....I would have to say my best moment is not to long ago I recieved a call, long story short my husband whos in the military was in criticial condition oversees. As soon as they had him stable they would fly him back to the states. I knew very few details at that point so it was a little scary, but nothing was better then when a few days later I walked into a hopsital room and saw him alive. That was perhaps one of the best moments of my life. Along with that other great moments were when I saw him on other deployments back it back, along with seeing my family as I would come back from deployments.
As for one of the worst moments.....I was blessed to see my husband make it back alive. However I was very close to another woman in my company. I was given the unfortinate honor of escourting her remains(nowdays if soldier dies in combat his or her remains are flown back to the the states escourted by another marine at all times up untill the barrieal) back to the states. That was perhaps the longest plane ride ever and up untill the funeral some very nervracking moments. Theres also a few others but I dont think its exactly something thats to be said now.
