Bath question...

Contributor: Danielle1220 Danielle1220
I love taking baths. My question to you is, do you just take your bath in plain old water, or do you use a bath salt or bubble bath?? If you do which one do you use? How is the experience with the product you use?

Right now I'm using my kid's bubble bath. Will be buying some salts as i've used them in the past. I used to buy mine from CVS but they no longer sell them.

I love baths! I pretty much take 1:1 ratio of bath and showers.

When I take my bath I put a few drops of essential oils to the water so it has a nice scent. I have different oils for different puporses. When I feel congested I use spruce and eucalyptus, when I need to wake up a have a really nice lime one and I have an aphrodesiac oil with rose and sandalwood, which I always get compliments from when I wear.

I bought my oils at a really nice store in BC, Canada and they don't have much options in essential oils here in Quebec, which is such a shame. I miss that store.

I just ran out of everything so I've been using plain old water instead. I miss bubbles and salts.

Essential oils and LOTS of bubble bath. Cigarettes and curled hair, plus Tolstoy.

Bubble bath is extremely drying to the skin. Be sure to add some oils to the water or moisturize after. Besides, it will make your skin smell great too!

I absolutely love lush.com for bath stuff. They used to have a gold glitter bubble bar. Seriously, a glittery gold bubble bath and some wine is amazingly luxurious.

I rarely take baths. But when I do I like bath salts or bubble bath. it just depends on what I have on hand!

Pretty much anything...I use an almond oil base and a dead sea salt, and have a collection of essential oils, and a few good quality fragrance oils, and mix up whatever I'm in the mood for.

I love Calgon Take Me Away bath powders. Vaseline makes a good version too. They make the water feel like silk, turn it a pretty blue or rose color, and make it smell good. Mmmm...... maybe thats what I need right now!!
Oh... and a big box is only around $2-3.

I prefer LUSH for my bath stuff too! A lot of their bubble bath stuff contains stuff to moisturize and it smells A-Mazing!

I miss baths! The only working bathroom in the house has a stand-up shower, which is never the same.

The last place I lived in Montana was a 1930's apartment with a lot of the original fixtures, including an Art Deco tub that was literally six feet long inside the basin. Being able to soak in that was the only pleasure I had during those last few stressful months of living there.

I do plain, oils, and bubbles - all of it must be in really hot water. And without the overhead light, just candles.

I make a lot of my own bath stuff too. Especially since I am very picky about smells.

I rarely take baths. I just find that I don't have the time for them. Although when I do take them I prefer to use salts. They make the water feel silky and my skin smell and feel awesome. I wish I had more time just to relax like that.

I love taking baths. I have the Shunga Aphrodisia bath salts and I love them dearly. I also use Chocolovers bath foam and I swear I want to eat it every time I open the damn container. It smells and looks just like chocolate syrup!

Before we moved I never took a nice bath, it was a tiny tub and the area has issues with brown water. Anytime I wanted to take a nice bath after a long day at work it was always nasty water.

But now we have a new place in a new city and the apartment has garden tubs! Huge tubs that just beg for you to take a bath and relax. I take them as often as I can and normally use some bubble bath. I hope to get some bath oils or bath bombs for the holidays.

I LOVE baths!! When I take a bath I usually just squirt some of my shower gel into the water...makes nice bubbles and the scent will never clash with my gel!

Oooh the lotus flower bath salts sound amazing! I'll have to look for those.

And depending on how long of a shower you take a bath can actually save water, well...as long as you're not letting out water so that you can add more hot water..that then defeats the water saving purpose.

I LOVE taking baths, in fact, i take one every day. I use different oils and always make my own. Some of my favorites are violet, rose, and lavender.
