I like gel so much better. Each handful is clean and hasn't been rubbed on someone else's crotch. Plus it doesn't fall of your hand and lasts longer.

I won't use anything but gel for the shower and hands! Bars of soap can harbor bacteria that ya trying to get off ya hands. But also, I will only use anti-bacteria hand wash so I know my hands are thoroughly clean!

i like shower gel b/c you can get a bunch that smell good. my bf like shower gel b/c i like the scents that they offer (old spice!), but he also likes bar soap b/c it's cheap.

I use both, but probably use shower gel more often due to a big sale at Bath and Body works.

I prefer bar soap. Call me silly, but I really fall in love with those handmade soaps; I keep buying luxurious lavender bars. Though, this is more of a spoiled thing, and I'll save those for unwinding baths and use whatever for the daily hop-in and get it done.

i'm allergic to most bar soaps so we both stick to gel. irish spring to be exact. unless im feeling sexy then its black raspberry vanilla from b&bw

I'm allergic to all perfumes and dyes in products like bath gel and those kinds of things. It sucks because they all smell soo good.

I've been using Coast lately because that's what hubby likes and I like the way it smells but it's caused my dermatitis and psoriasis to flare pretty bad lately so it looks like I have to go back to Ivory.

I use hair conditioner to shave my legs and it works very, very well. It's great because I don't have to worry if I accidentally knick my leg or something like that. I can usually find the Suave perfume/dye free version for like a buck.

We both like shower gel and loofahs! We don't live together and we don't use the same shower gel so when he showers at my place he hates that he smells like a lady. lol. Neither of us like bar soap though.

We each used to have our own shower gels. He ran out and didn't mention it to me and began using mine so now we both use Dr. Bronner's Lavender Soap. In the winter, we have to switch to Dove Unscented because our dry skin gets really bad.

My son would like shower gel, but he goes through a thing of gel faster than my husband and I together and let's face it, shower gel is more expensive than bar soap, so he gets Dove Men's bar soap. I hate cleaning the scum on his tub!

Depends on how extensive of a wash I'm doing. If it's just my face and pits then bar soap. If I'm doing an all-over wash, then I use shower gel.

Shower gel because it is easier, no slipping and sliding. I am VERY Anti bath poofs though. I have gotten my piercing stuck on them one to many times. The BF uses bar soap on his man parts but shower gel everywhere else....he's kind of a weirdo. ;D
