Marines my dad is a Marines
03/26/2012
I like them all the same they all put their uniforms on the same way.. My dad was army along with my current boy friend was in Iraq, 2 of my brothers were Navey, a fishing buddy was a Marine, and I have Air force friends. Plus the fact that all 4 groups mentioned and the 3 branches are fighting for us.

They all kick ass equally. They might not always fight for what some people may deem as "right" but either way they protect us. From what...I'm not sure..but god damn it I sleep pretty good at night and thats just fine by me.

Army dad, Air Force uncle, Navy grandpa...there's no way I could pick just one!
03/27/2012
I'm a sucker for the Marines, but I'm from an Air Force family so I can't pick!
03/27/2012
I can't pick eihter. My brother served in the Navy, my best friend served in the Marines, and I have several friends and family members that have been in the Army. I support all my troops.

They all protect are country. I support them all.
03/27/2012
I support all of them! My family has traditionally been in the Air Force and Army but they all do incredible things to protect us.
03/27/2012
I support them all also.
03/27/2012
They all do a great job protecting us so they are all good to me.

I don't have a "favorite" branch of the military, but my Grandfather and all three of his brothers were in the Air Force during WW2 (I believe...it was one of them anyway).

Favorite??? I LOVE studying the art of war all over history, but I couldn't say a wee bit that there is anything in modern military (especially the US Army) what would be appealing, respectable, moral...! Say am weird, but I can't find the thought of going off to slay masses of people an acceptable concept! Especially that all those folks are like some disposable slaves to the power, and of course nobody gives a fuck that they all fuckin kill and fuckin die there because they are too fuckin brainwashed to stand up and say no!!! I don't even know if I should find them repulsive or feel sorry for them! Would be anything in my life but a soldier, or anything similar to indirectly lick the boots of the powers that be!!! :S:S:S (Sorry, just the topic upsets me... I do love anything historical, strategy, weapons, martial arts, all that stuff... But there is a difference between necessary and profit wars! :S ~frowns and quillruffles)

I served in the Army but I've recommended my son to go Air Force or Navy. For the regular guys on a ship, I don't see the same need for physical aggression like would be required for a combat Army soldier or a Marine.

less
we didn't ALL "fuckin die there" nor did we ALL "slay masses of people".
Neither would I consider myself to have been "fuckin brainwashed" and I certainly did not "lick the boots of the powers that be".
As well, if my country really needed me, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

You left out Coast Guard. Yes they're also considered one of our armed forces and they do a hell of a job for all of us.

Can't really say any one specifically because each one does what they can to protect the people. I support each of them.

I was Army infantry, but I went with Marines as a whole because they all have the mentality of Infantry Riflemen. I couldn't make a comparison in between the two infantrys or special forces though and consider them equal for the most part (specialties with each).

Anybody but the Marines.
04/05/2012
I chose Marines because I have friends in the Marines and not any of the other branches.

Thank you, I was looking through these comments before adding that myself. I am a Coast Guard veteran and I agree with you in regards to your response to DreamWolf.

God bless and protect them all - those who serve today, who will serve tomorrow and those who have gone before and especially those who gave all for me to spend another beautiful day in the greatest nation in the world with my family. I was raised an AF brat by two active dutu service members - my mother wore combat boots and was a jet engine mechanic until she retired... my father was a first shirt for the PJ's and flew presedential until he retired and still served till the day he died. I have lived in many countries including Korea, Japan,Greece, and all over the U.S. just to name a few. Every branch and every warrior has given so much of their lives, dedication and patriotism to give us what we often take for granted. I miss my father every day... I salute our flag every day... and I remember, say thanks and pray for each and every one of our protectors every single day. And yes - I absolutely include the USCG cause it takes huge brass balls to fly or sail in the shit they do, jump into the sea and risk their lives for a starting wage about the same as somone working at a McDonalds... God Bless and keep them safe.

Well, I come from an Army family, so I went with that. But I probably should have said I couldn't pick, because honestly, if I were to join, I would probably go into the Navy.
04/27/2012
How could you even pick one? Haha they all are amazing for serving our country
04/27/2012
They all do a great job!!!
